BEIJING, Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Solera Holdings, LLC. ("Solera") today confirmed a high-level meeting between its leadership and China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC), China’s national-level automotive technical research and certification authority spanning the country’s full automotive value chain, held in the presence of Mr. Wang Junming, Vice Chairman of the China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association (CITS). 

Jing Liao, Solera's Chief Administrative Officer and Chairwoman of the Solera Foundation, led the Solera delegation — joined by Asia Managing Director, SooCheon Chung and China Sales Directors Jason Liu and Harold Liu — in discussions with Mr. Li Wei, Deputy General Manager of CATARC and his team, exploring cooperation between CATARC and Solera in support of China's automotive strategy. 

Mr. Li Wei outlined CATARC’s important role in China’s automotive ecosystem and its long-standing capabilities in providing technical services across the full automotive value chain and vehicle lifecycle. He also shared CATARC’s overall development strategy, core technical capabilities, and industry service strengths. Mr. Li stated that CATARC hopes to leverage its strengths as an independent third-party technical platform and work with industry associations and domestic and international partners to explore new pathways for mutually beneficial cooperation and contribute to building China into a leading automotive nation. Mr. Wang echoed this view, emphasizing that CITS will continue to coordinate industry resources, drive technological innovation, and promote standardized industry development, while working with global partners to advance high-quality industrial growth.
